Meet Dr. Kye Peven, AP, DSOM, ND
Vitalist | Doctor of Chinese Medicine | Acupuncture Physician
Dr. Kye Peven is the Clinic Director at Winthrop Natural Medicine. He is a Naturopathic Doctor and Chinese Medicine Doctor who holds dual doctorates in Naturopathic Medicine and Oriental Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, as well as an undergraduate degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley. He’s licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor as well as an Acupuncturist in the State of Washington, and licensed as an Acupuncture Physician in Florida.
Holding dual doctorates in both Western and Eastern medicine, Dr. Kye is fluent in perspectives from both worlds. Dr. Kye often diagnoses and treats from a Chinese medicine point of view, but translates that information using the language of conventional western medicine, which makes his counsel highly accessible to patients. He holds the best of both worlds and can move fluidly back and forth between them.
Meet Dr. Molly Thelisdort, ND, MAc
Natural Medicine Consultant
Dr. Molly Thelisdort is a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist who holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Acupuncture from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). She is currently licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Acupuncturist (LAc) in the state of Oregon.
Dr. Molly focuses on integrative, whole-person healthcare using modalities from both western and eastern medicine. She spent 6 years in Portland Oregon working in primary care, specializing in women’s health, hormonal imbalances, fertility, mental/emotional health and complex chronic illnesses, before moving to Florida for family. She utilizes herbs, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle modifications, homeopathy, and a variety of foundational health tools to help remove the obstacles towards optimal health and vitality. In her practice in Oregon she also utilized a variety of Asian bodywork modalities, including Sotai, Shiatsu, and Shonishin, as well as Western techniques such as craniosacral.
Note: As Florida has not issued licenses to Naturopathic Doctors since 1959, Molly Thelisdort N.D. is not a licensed N.D. in Florida. She is a licensed naturopathic physician in the jurisdiction of Oregon. Given her educational training and experience, she works as a natural medicine consultant to Florida based clients.
How We Work
We treat people – not diseases.
All people are welcome and can expect guidance and care for any condition or diagnosis you may be walking in with. We work with folks facing acute, chronic, or degenerative conditions. While we treat people facing all kinds of conditions, we are especially well-equipped to treat folks facing pain, inflammation, trauma, and chronic health issues that conventional medicine struggles to address.

Healthcare Pricing - A New Model
In the old days doctors were paid only when their patients stayed healthy; when someone was sick the doctor wasn’t paid until they were well again. We believe healthcare needs to prioritize the doctor-patient relationship and de-emphasize the transactional nature of wellness. This is why we offer a membership, in order to prioritize our relationship with you, and your relationship with health.
Membership
An affordable, monthly payment allows us to see you as needed and prioritize your health. Membership ensures you have the care you need – when you need it. Includes all time spent on your care and treatment.
Fee For Service
We charge an hourly rate for all patients not on a membership. This includes time spent on phone calls and replying to messages and emails.
Insurance
We are out of network but are happy to provide you with a superbill so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance plan.
