Dr. Valentina Benitez

Biography

Dr. Valentina Benitez, ND, provides an individualized and holistic approach to primary care and sports medicine. She is extensively trained in herbal medicine, nutrition, and physical medicine (shiatsu therapeutic massage and naturopathic manipulation techniques).

Dr. Benitez completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey and her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine. During her undergraduate, she competed as a division one collegiate springboard and platform diver and worked for several years in an exercise psychophysiology lab, which led to her passion for sports medicine.

Valentina focuses on restoring the body’s innate ability to heal with gentle restorative therapies, but also utilizes pharmaceuticals when needed. She serves all individuals and children older than one year. Dr. Benitez is a good fit for people with pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes that are looking to manage and reverse their diabetes, athletes who are looking for injury prevention or treatment for acute and chronic injuries, or anyone looking for an integrated and holistic approach to their health.

“I believe that an individual’s participation in their healthcare is key; I involve my patients by providing education and insight at every visit. There is no quick fix, but I can assure you that health and harmony are always possible, and I am here to help you get there.”
