Biography
Christine Wan graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, in 2017. She studies Neurobiology and Physiology at the University of Maryland College Park (UMD). She is currently a research assistant at the UMD in the Global Mental Health and Addiction Program, which aims to increase evidence-based addiction treatment in resource-limited clinical settings. Prior, Christine was a research assistant in the Cell Biology Lab studying Progeria, a rare condition affecting children during which they show premature aging. She volunteers her time in the Emergency Room at the Washington Adventist Hospital and at the Branchville Fire Station. Christine loves playing badminton (and sports in general) and aspires to be a physician.
